Areas of Expertise

Counseling & Psychotherapy

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist(#45502) and a Registered Art Therapist. I typically work with children, teens, and adults from an attachment framework: I help people thrive in relationships. These can be relationships of all kinds (parental, monogamous, polyamorous, etc.)  I have also been trained in Advanced Integrative Therapy and have taken both the Basics and the Masters course; this is great work for people who have experienced trauma. I have been using art and its therapeutic effects for over 20 years in private and clinical settings (assisting adults, teens, children; autistic children and teens; and children and adults facing traumatic abuse). I am currently a Certified 5Rhythms® Teacher, which is a type of movement meditation.

Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy

As a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, I guide couples through the intricate tapestry of their relationships, gently unraveling the knots and tangles that have formed over time. With each thread we untangle, we pave the way for a more vibrant, harmonious pattern to emerge.

EFT helps couples identify the delicate threads of their emotional dance, providing the tools to weave new patterns that foster trust, understanding, and a deeper connection. Like the skilled hands of an artisan, EFT shapes and reshapes your relationship, transforming the worn fabric into a beautiful masterpiece that tells your unique story.

In this collaborative process, couples from various relationship dynamics, including monogamous and non-monogamous partnerships, can create a tapestry of love, understanding, and connection, strengthened by the shared experiences of growth and healing.

Together, we'll reweave the fabric of your relationship, creating a tapestry that celebrates your bond, resilience, and love for one another. With each new thread interwoven, your partnership will be transformed, reflecting the beauty and strength of your commitment to each other.

In addition to weekly therapy, I also offer weekend intensives for couples. This is a way to do 3 months of therapy in one weekend!

Fees for Services

Insurance & Self-Pay

I am not accepting any insurance plans at this time.  However if you have a PPO, I am happy to provide you with a Superbill that you can give to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.  Most of my clients opt out of their insurance benefits for mental health services because Insurance companies are able to track, view, and discuss any progress notes or diagnosis.  If you are seeking an extra layer of privacy then self-pay may be the best option to pay for services.
